4th week
at college… medical training!!

Written by goflygirl, 6 years ago, 2 Comments

Another hectic week @ college!! GMT baby! (group medical training for those that dont speak emirates, hehe)

I was really excited going into this week as these are valuable life skills that you can use anytime, anywhere, anyplace… and as in this case 35000 feet up in the air!! Our trainer gave us shocking stats on the deaths onboard as well as births, so I knew that I better pay good attention or else….

So what we basically covered is how to give first response to someone who has a medical problem. From choking, to epilepsy to a serious allergic reaction to CPR to putting someone in a body bag and keeping them in the galley (yeah great I know….) to helping a mother give birth!! And that is something I would hopefully never have to do, I dont care if the baby gets my name or not, please have babies on OTHER flights, thank you :)

Here’s some photos of the less serious times during training, enjoy!
